Due to the national state of emergency caused by COVID-19, C&J has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all bus service effective Sunday, March 22, 2020. We feel we must do our part to help control the spread of COVID-19.

These are incredibly challenging times for us all, but the safety of our riders and employees always comes first. We understand the potential role C&J plays and have taken the necessary steps in order help stop the spread of COVID-19 across major infected areas including New York City and Boston. We urge everyone to do your part and please stay home, we all need to come together in this time of need!

C&J Temporary Closure

This is a temporary shutdown due to the national state of emergency caused by COVID-19 and the government guidelines. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our riders, employees, and communities where we live and serve and we look forward to serving you again soon. We urge everyone to do your part and please stay home, we all need to come together in this time of need to flatten the curve!

Our Dover, Portsmouth, and Newburyport terminals are temporary closed effective Sunday, March 22, 2020 until further notice.

With limited staff at this time we will process refund requests by the day of travel. Please contact us within 7 days of your original scheduled date of travel. Due to the high volume of refunds at this time please expect 60 days processing time.


If you wish to keep your tickets for future travel you may do so within the following guidelines:

Please know that you can use your ticket to South Station for anytime during six months from the purchase date.

We have extended our expiration date on all Logan Airport tickets, so now they are available anytime for two years from the purchase date.

For all existing New York City tickets during this shutdown, we are happy to credit you a trip of equal or lesser value, valid anytime from one year from the date of travel. If the new ride is priced higher, you can still change for no fee but you must pay the fare difference. Subject to space availability.

If you are unable to retrieve your vehicle before the close of business day Saturday, March 21, 2020. We ask that you text 603-817-5433, with a date and time you will be picking up your keys.  Pickup times will be available between Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 4:00PM, by appointment only.
