C&J Supports Big Brother Big Sisters in defending and igniting the potential of youth throughout New Hampshire
This summer, C&J Bus Lines was thrilled to send two local members of Big Brothers Big Sisters to Boston for a game at Fenway Park! Kristen and her mentor Melisa have been paired for a year and a half, and through this amazing program they’ve had opportunities to learn from one another and grow. Melisa has actually volunteered as a Big Sister for the last 21 years and Kristen is her fourth Little Sister!
To make Kristen’s first trip to Boston unforgettable, we surprised the pair with tickets to the big game and gave them a ride to and from the city. They both had an amazing time exploring the city and Kristen loved watching the Red Sox play at Fenway! Our bus terminal at Boston South Station is conveniently located right next to the T, which makes getting around the city and visiting Fenway a breeze.

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-on-one youth mentoring and support services to children throughout the United States. Specifically, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire strives to empower underserved children through supportive mentoring. Their mission is to “Create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.”
In 2018 alone, BBBSNH was able to provide 735 children and youth across 88 cities with rewarding mentorships. It is an honor to be able to support such a worthy organization working to give children the opportunities and support they need to be successful in life. We are the program’s first corporate defender and we have committed our support for the next three years! We can’t wait to see where C&J will take Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire next.
