New Non-Stop, Executive-Class Bus Service from Tewksbury, MA
to New York City

We are very happy to announce that we’ve opened a new location in Tewksbury to offer non-stop, executive-class transportation to New York City! And you can purchase a one-way ticket for just $39.95 for now until June 15, 2013.

“Our non-stop, executive service from Tewksbury to New York provides a new option for convenient, comfortable travel,” said C&J President Jim Jalbert. “We are pleased to have been welcomed warmly into the Merrimack Valley business community and we look forward to serving Tewksbury-area travelers.”

We’ll operate non-stop trips daily to New York City’s Port Authority from a new travel stop at the Holiday Inn Tewksbury-Andover at 4 Highwood Drive. Located in the heart of the Merrimack Valley at the junction of routes 93 and 495, this new location offers convenient travel to New York from Tewksbury, Andover, Lowell and Haverhill MA, as well as from Salem, NH.

C&J has modified seating on its New York coaches to maximize comfort and leg room by reducing the total number of seats to just 30 from the industry standard of 55. The result is a spacious, comfortable journey described by passengers as better than air travel. The executive bus service includes free Wi-Fi, roomy leather seats, free bag checks, free parking in Tewksbury, complimentary snacks and beverages, as well as free video entertainment.

“It’s an exceptionally stress-free travel experience where passengers can kick back, access the Internet, enjoy food and beverages and not have to worry about parking or driving in the city,” said Jalbert. “We feel it will be a well-received option for business travelers and leisure travelers alike.”

The non-stop service from Tewksbury means passengers do not need to travel to Boston to get to New York, or switch modes of travel or make connections. Passengers do need to make reservations ahead of time and can conveniently purchase tickets online.

C&J will offer two daily round trips to New York City on Sunday through Friday and one round trip Saturday. Departures from Tewksbury on Monday through Friday are at 7:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Weekend service from Tewksbury to New York will include departures at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday and 10:50 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. on Sunday.

For Northbound trips from New York’s Port Authority, C&J will offer two daily round trips Sunday through Friday and one round trip Saturday. Departures from New York City on Monday through Friday are at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., while weekend Northbound departures are scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday and noon and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

C&J will offer tickets for the service at a special introductory offer of just $39.95 through June 15,2013 (travel must start by June 15, 2013 for a passenger to use the discounted tickets). The cost will return to its normal $69.95 rate beginning in June 2013. Children under 12 can ride for a rate of just $34.95. You can buy bus tickets online here.
