Introducing C&J Key Connect: An Easier Way to Manage Your Vehicle While You Travel

Travel plans don't always line up with your vehicle plans.

Maybe you're heading to Boston Logan Airport for a week, but a family member needs to use your car while you're away. Or maybe a friend can drop your vehicle off at a C&J terminal while you're traveling, so it's waiting for you when you return home.

With C&J Key Connect, you can securely leave your keys with our Customer Service team, allowing an authorized friend or family member to pick up your vehicle, or even drop it off for you, while you travel.

When Could You Use Key Connect?

Key Connect is helpful anytime your travel plans and vehicle plans don't line up. Some common situations include:

• A family member needs your car while you're on vacation.
• You're traveling for work and won't be back for several days.
• Your return plans may change, and someone else may need to retrieve your vehicle prior to your return
• You're taking the bus to New York City for the weekend but don't want your vehicle sitting unused.
• Have your vehicle waiting when you return. A friend or family member can drop it off at a C&J terminal while you're away, making late-night arrivals easier by eliminating the need for someone to pick you up.
• Anytime you're traveling for more than the 30 day parking limit and need someone to retrieve your vehicle before your trip is over.
  

How It Works

Using Key Connect only takes a few extra minutes before you board.

When you arrive at a C&J terminal in Dover, Portsmouth, or Seabrook:

• Park your vehicle in the gated parking lot.
• Choose a paper parking ticket at the entrance gate.
• Visit the ticket counter inside the terminal and request Key Connect.
• Complete a short authorization form with your vehicle information and the name of the person who will pick it up.
• Leave your keys and parking ticket with a Customer Service Agent.

We'll provide you with a claim check number to share with your authorized pickup person.

When they're ready to pick up your vehicle, they'll simply visit the ticket counter, present a valid government-issued photo ID, and provide the claim check number. Once their identity is verified, we'll release the keys and parking ticket so they can retrieve the vehicle.

Before You Leave

A few simple steps can make pickup even easier:

• Take a photo or note where your vehicle is parked.
• Share the location with your authorized pickup person.
• Remove any valuables from your vehicle before you leave.

Standard parking rates apply ($4.50/day), and parking fees are paid when the vehicle exits the lot using the paper ticket.

Designed with Security in Mind

Your keys are only released to the authorized person listed on your Key Connect form. If your plans change, updates must be made and approved before the keys can be released.

Keys are stored only at the terminal where your vehicle is parked and may be held for up to 30 days.

Added Flexibility for Your Trip

Sometimes you need someone to pick up your vehicle while you're away. Other times, you want someone to leave your vehicle at the terminal so it's ready when you return. C&J Key Connect makes both possible.

It's a simple service that gives you more flexibility before, during, and after your trip, making it easier to coordinate travel with the people you trust.
