It’s an unhappy truth: the more you travel, the higher your flu risk.
At C&J Bus Lines, we pride ourselves on offering one of the cleanest and most comfortable public transportation experiences available. To help prevent the spread of germs and viruses, each of our coaches is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized each and every day. Additionally, we equip all terminals and bus lavatories with hand sanitizer and tissues.
Unfortunately, you can’t rely on all facilities to offer the same level of care. That’s why getting an annual flu shot is so essential.
Flu Shot Clinic at C&J Portsmouth Terminal
As a service to our customers and employees, C&J Bus Lines, in partnership with Osco Pharmacy, will host a flu shot clinic on October 22 from 6am – 9am at our Portsmouth bus terminal.
“As one of New England’s primary modes of public transportation, it’s our responsibility to do our part in helping to prevent the spread of influenza,” said C&J Vice President of Operations Jamie Lesniak. “This clinic is one way we can help keep our riders, and our staff, healthy during flu season.”
Help Stop the Spread of Influenza
The influenza virus can easily be spread via infected items (like doorknobs, countertops and cell phones) and by air (like that sneezy little-one at the park). While frequent and proper hand washing will go a long way in helping to prevent the spread of the virus, a flu shot is your only real method of protection. So don’t wait until there’s a vaccine shortage!
Come to our flu clinic on October 22 and rest easy this flu season. Insurance cards can be presented onsite for billing. The price for flu shots for individuals without insurance, or for carriers of insurance that we cannot accept, is $25.
We’re offering these vaccinations on a first-come, first-served basis; so get here early and be sure to leave yourself extra time if you’re planning on catching one of our scheduled buses to Boston or New York City.
