Community support and development have always been important to C&J Bus Lines. That’s why we’re proud to announce our recent sponsorship of The Music Hall’s Tax Credit Improvement Project through the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA).
Through the CDFA’s Tax Credit Program, C&J Bus Lines has purchased tax credits totaling $25,000 toward essential upgrades for The Music Hall. The CDFA’s Tax Credit Program brings businesses, towns and local nonprofits together to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships. The CDFA makes partnerships like this possible by providing a 75% state tax credit against all donations.
“It’s a real win-win,” said Jamie Lesniak, Vice President of Operations for C&J Bus Lines. “C&J gets to exercise its philanthropic beliefs by giving back to the local community and The Music Hall gets the necessary upgrades to ensure continued film programming.”
The upgrades couldn’t come at a more important time for The Music Hall. Donations will be used to digitize all film and sound production equipment, allowing The Music Hall to continue its cultural programming as movie studios make the final move away from 35mm film production.
If you would like more information about how you can contribute to The Music Hall upgrade program you can contact their Director of Institutional Advancement, Gail VanHoy Carolan, at (603) 766-2174 or gcarolan[at]themusichall[dot]org, or visit http://nhcdfa.org/electronic-pledge to make a donation.
