C&J Pledges $20,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

C&J Bus Lines announced today that it has committed to a four-year, $20,000 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast (BBBSGS).

“We view this as a long-yerm way to support our community,” said C&J President Jim Jalbert. “Our kids will shape our future so the support we offer to our youth today will help ensure the wellbeing of us all for years to come. Because C&J believes in fostering a strong bond between businesses and communities, we are proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters.”

BBBSGS is celebrating its 35th year of commitment to youth and has been unwavering in its focus to match at-risk children in local communities with mentors. The organization has been recognized as the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast has been committed to providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported one-to-one relationships that can change their lives for the better, forever.

“Our vision is that all children achieve success in life,” said Jessie Dill, executive director of BBBSGS. “The commitment that C&J has made to Seacoast youth will make a significant impact. With such a pledge of support, C&J is helping to create relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people.”
