We’ve put together some helpful information for things you need to know about this year’s parade.
Boston’s St. Patrick’s Parade
The Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade is held each year on the Sunday closest to March 17. This year’s parade falls on, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1pm. Each year, spectators gather to celebrate their Irish routes down in Southie. The parade features a mix of bagpipes, marching bands, elaborate floats, military units, dancers, historic Minutemen companies, and more!
This year, due to the challenges caused by the pandemic, the parade will follow a shorter route than previous years. It will start at Broadway T Station and will continue down the entirety of Broadway, ending at Farragut road. View the Boston St. Patrick’s Parade route for complete details.
C&J Insider tip: When you arrive at South Station with C&J, take the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at Broadway Station – this is where the parade starts.
