Congratulations to our 2019 Super Bowl LIII champs, the New England Patriots! Mayor Marty Walsh and the City of Boston have officially announced that the 2019 Patriots Super Bowl victory parade will be held on Tuesday, February 5th starting at 11 a.m.!
Check out the parade details below and learn how riding a C&J bus to Boston is the easiest way to get in and out of the city to celebrate.
Patriots’ Super Bowl 2019 parade begins Tuesday, February 5th in Boston at 11 a.m. Weather is calling for temperatures in the 50s, so it’s a perfect day for a celebration in Boston! At C&J, we’re running additional buses throughout the day to help get you to and from the Patriots’ parade safely and easily.
The parade will follow a similar route to the 2017 victory parade, where the duck boats traveled up Boylston Street from the Hynes Convention Center, finishing at City Hall.
Traveling to Boston Made Easy
The City of Boston is urging parade goers to use public transportation to get into the city and we think a C&J bus to Boston is the best way to get in on all the festivities! With hourly buses to and from South Station from Dover, Portsmouth, and Newburyport, it’s easy to celebrate the day in Boston with Tom Brady and the Pats, then make it home quickly and safely.
If you are traveling to Boston for the day, we encourage riders to take advantage of our same-day discounted fares that can be purchased the day of travel at our terminals.
Parking at all C&J facilities is limited. Please carpool when possible and to follow all parking signage and regulations. We guarantee parking in Portsmouth when you utilize our valet service. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to time of departure to give yourself plenty time to park and get your tickets.
Getting to the Parade from South Station
There are a few different spots you can go to watch the parade. We recommend watching the festivities mid-route near the Boston Commons. There are a few different viewing options here, near the Park Street, Arlington, or Boylston MBTA stops. Here’s how to get there from South Station via the MBTA:
- Transfer to the Red Line subway level and take an Alewife-bound train from the northbound platform.
- Park Street Station is only two Red Line stops from South Station. You can stop here to view the parade from Tremont Street.
- If you want to view the parade from an earlier spot along the parade route, once at Park Street Station, transfer from the Red Line to the Green Line at Park Street Station and board any Green Line B, C, D, or E trains and travel to the Boylston or Arlington Stations.
