C&J offers bus service to and from Portsmouth, Tewksbury and New York as well as to and from Portsmouth, Dover, Newburyport and Boston.
C&J offers daily bus service from Dover and Portsmouth, NH, as well as from Newburyport, MA, to Boston’s South Station and Logan Airport. C&J also offers daily bus travel to New York City from Portsmouth, NH & Tewksbury, MA.
Traveling by bus with C&J is a convenient, comfortable alternative to driving your car. Our riders travel for business and pleasure.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance of your trip, or at one of our locations. Please note that one child under the age of 18 may ride free on buses to Boston/Logan Airport when accompanied by a full fare ticketed adult. Children under five years old can travel free with an adult by riding on the ticketed adults lap unless an open seat is available. Click here to view our full refund policy.
Reservations are not accepted for C&J’s bus service between Dover, Portsmouth and Newburyport and Boston’s South Station and Logan Airport. Passengers can buy tickets in advance but advance purchase does not reserve seats for a particular bus. Travel aboard C&J's non-reservation service is on a first come basis. All tickets are open-ended with the exception of multi-ride passes and same-day round-trip tickets. Ticket may be used at any time for the South Station and Logan Airport scheduled service. One-way tickets are valid within 6 months of the date of purchase.
Reservations are required for service between Portsmouth, Tewksbury, MA, and New York City. Passengers can make reservations online to book in advance. Tickets are non-transferable. All NYC refund requests must be received at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled departure time by contacting the C&J Information Center at (800) 258-7111. Changes to a reservation can be made up until 20 minutes prior to the time of departure. All refund & change requests are subject to a $15 per passenger per transaction fee. If a reservation not used on the date and time specified on the ticket, the ticket can be reinstated within 30 days, towards a valid C&J schedule for $30 per one-way. After 30 days from the original travel date, the ticket is void and non-refundable.

C&J Bus Tickets – FAQs
Where can I buy bus tickets at Logan Airport?
C&J does not operate a ticket counter at Logan Airport but does sell tickets online. If you are unable to purchase your ticket in advance online or at one of our facilities in Dover and Portsmouth, NH or Newburyport, MA, then you can still board a C&J bus at Logan Airport. Upon boarding, the driver will request your photo identification. The driver will hold your ID during the trip and when you reach your destination, the driver will provide the agency with your identification, who will return it to you upon purchase of a ticket for the travel incurred. Agents are available 24 hours a day at each location to assist you.
Can someone else use my ticket even though my name is printed on it?
No. The person whose name is on the ticket must be the passenger traveling with us.
What happens if there are passes (trips) remaining on my commuter ticket after expiration?
The remaining passes are no longer valid for travel.
