Bus Stop:

Conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan, one block west of Times Square.  Occupies the blocks between 8th & 9th avenues, and 40th & 42nd streets.The Port Authority Bus Terminal, 625 8th Avenue, New York City, NY. Subway Level, South Terminal. C&J buses arrive and depart at Gate 34. The gate is located beside New York Trailways Gates at the bottom of the escalator to the left. Purchase Tickets & Refunds: The NYC service is reservation only.  Walkups are accepted only when space is available. Reservations can be made online at https://webstore.ridecj.com/ticketing/ or over the phone at (800) 258-7111, 24 hours/day. A C&J agent is not available at the New York City location. New York City tickets can only be refunded up to 24-hours prior to the time of reservation. Taxi Service - The Port Authority provides free taxi dispatch service between 6:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., and between 5:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Monday to Friday. This dispatch booth is located directly outside the Eighth Avenue entrance to the south wing of the terminal.
Directions: By Subway - Direct underground passageways connect the terminal with NYC Transit subway A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, 1, 2, 3 and 7 trains, as well as the shuttle to Grand Central Terminal. Click here for further subway information.
From Grand Central Terminal - Take a Times Square-bound NYC Transite subway 7 train two stops or a Times Square-bound shuttle train one stop.
From Penn Station - Tahe an uptown NYC Transit subway A, C or E train one stop to 42nd Street. Walk up the stairs and follow signs to Port Authority Bus Terminal.
