One of the following items may be carried free and placed in the luggage compartments of the coach as part of the 2 piece Luggage Allowance.

Antlers/horns - Antlers or horns may be accepted if packaged in a sealed, leak-proof shipping container which encases the entire item(s). Items wrapped in bubble wrap, then sealed in a plastic bag may also be accepted.
Bowling Equipment- One item of bowling equipment is considered to be: one bowling ball, one bowling bag and one pair of bowling shoes.
Fishing Equipment - One item of fishing equipment is considered to be: two rods, one reel, one landing net, one pair of fishing boots (properly encased) and one fishing tackle box. Fishing poles are allowed as carry-on luggage provided they fit in the overhead compartment.
Golfing Equipment - One piece of golfing equipment is considered to be: one golf bag containing not more than 14 golf clubs, 12 golf balls and one pair of golf shoes. Durable golf bags are required.
Hockey Sticks and Ice Skates - One item of hockey equipments is considered to be; one hockey stick, one pair of skates in a sporting bag. C&J is not responsible for damaged hockey sticks.
Firearms/Shooting Equipment and Ammunition- You must be 18 years of age to check a firearm. One piece of shooting equipment will count as one bag. Firearms, shooting equipment and related items will be accepted only if placed in the luggage compartment of the coach and subject to the following specific conditions: All firearms must be unloaded and packed in a crush-proof container specifically designed for the firearm(s). One item of shooting equipment is considered: one rifle case containing no more than two rifles, one shooting net, noise suppressors, and a small rifle tool set, or one shotgun case containing no more than two shotguns, or one pistol case containing no more than four pistols, or one bow and quiver of arrows and maintenance kit enclosed in a proper case of sufficient strength to protect sporting equipment from accidental damage. No firearms/shooting equipment will be allowed as a carry-on at any time.
Skis and Snowboards - One item of ski equipment is considered to be: One pair of skis or one snowboard, with one pair of snow boots and one pair of ski poles. All ski equipment should be in a sturdy container for protection. C&J is not responsible for damaged snow sport equipment.
Tennis Racket - A tennis racket can be carried on the coach as one carry-on item.
Water Skiing Equipment - One item of water skiing equipment is considered to be: one pair of water skis, one tow rope and one life preserver or one wakeboard, one tow rope, and one life preserver.
One of the following items may be carried free and place in the luggage compartments of the coach as part of the 2 piece Luggage Allowance on a SPACE AVAILABILITY BASIS ONLY. Oversized item may be removed at our Newburyport Terminal to accommodate remaining passengers' luggage. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure their oversized items transfer.
Bicycles- A Bicycle may be accepted in the luggage compartment of the coach. Bicycles will be accepted in a hard-sided, padded case designed for bicycles or with the handle bars secured sideways and pedals removed. C&J is not responsible for damaged bikes.
Surfing Equipment - Surfboards may be accepted. It is recommended that surfboards travel in a hard-sided, rather than soft-sided, case to prevent damage. One surfboard per case. C&J is not responsible for damaged surfboards.
